Using BT AvaTalk for the first time couldn’t be easier! First of all if you’re not already a user of Second Life then you need to register here.

To use the BT AvaTalk Phone Box follow these easy steps:

	Visit the BT AvaTalk Phone Box
	Click either the SMS symbol or Call symbol on the BT AvaTalk Phone Box
	You will be asked to make your Avatar say "Yes" to confirm that you have read and agreed to the Trial Terms and Conditions detailed here
	You will then be asked to enter the phone number that you wish to use for this service. This will be the phone (landline or mobile) that you wish to use when making calls from BT AvaTalk. Once you have chosen this number you will not be able to change it. BT AvaTalk asks you to confirm the number twice
	Now you're ready to use BT AvaTalk!

Once you’ve used BT AvaTalk for the first time why don’t you try using a BT AvaTalk Head Up Display (HUD)? BT AvaTalk HUDs let you use BT AvaTalk wherever your avatar goes!

To get your own BT AvaTalk HUD follow these easy steps:

	Click on the Picture above the BT AvaTalk Phone Box handset
	Click "Keep"
	Recover the HUD from your inventory
	Wear your HUD
	Now you're ready to use BT AvaTalk!
